Ultraformer III HIFU (High-Intensity Focused Ultrasound) is a non-invasive treatment that uses ultrasound energy to target various layers of the skin, which may assist to stimulate collagen production to tighten, firm and lift the treatment areas. 

The procedure is designed to address mild to moderate skin elasticity and may help reduce the appearance of facial lines. Please note individual results will vary.

About your Consultation

  • What to expect

    The treatment takes approximately 30- to 60 minutes depending on the choice of treatment areas. If you decide to undertake a treatment and follow our required aftercare any side effects experienced are likely to be mild including minor redness, swelling and tenderness to the treatment sites which will generally subside after a period of time.

  • Aftercare

    If you choose to undertake a treatment following the consultation, to minimise the downtime, please:

    • Avoid hot showers on the day of the treatment 
    • Wear SPF protection to the treated areas following treatment

FAQs

Is the treatment painful?
In general, the treatment can be considered quite comfortable, with individual experiences varying. Individuals may experience some mild sensation as the device delivers heat to target deep into the skin layers. 

Is numbing cream provided?
No, we do not recommend applying numbing cream to the treatment areas as a safety precaution. This is to ensure the heat is delivered to the areas safely and so we can adjust the settings accordingly. 

How long is the downtime? 
If you follow the required aftercare you can reduce the risk of downtime which may range from a few hours to a few days depending on the individual. 

Can I exercise after?
Yes, you can exercise depending on your skin’s sensitivity post treatment. 

Can I wear makeup after?
Yes, makeup can be worn after.
