Overview
What is glass skin?
Glass skin is a beauty term, not a medical one. It describes skin that appears clear, even in tone, finely textured and light-reflective. It became widely popular through Korean skincare and is now a common search for people wanting healthier-looking skin.
What affects how skin looks?
Texture, tone and hydration are shaped by genetics, sun exposure, past acne, ageing, skincare habits and general health. Uneven tone, fine lines, visible pores and rough texture are very common and vary between individuals.
Why people come to us
Reasons people seek consultations
With so many products and trends available, it can be hard to know what your skin actually needs. A consultation gives you a professional assessment and a clear plan, rather than trial and error. Common reasons include:
- Dull, uneven or rough-feeling skin
- Uneven tone or marks from sun exposure or past breakouts
- Fine lines and visible pores
- Wanting a clear plan rather than guessing at products
- Wanting a professional skin assessment

How should you manage skin texture and tone concerns?
Every person's skin is different, so what works for one person may not work for another. The best first step is to book a consultation. Our consultations run for 45 minutes and are never rushed, so there is time to look closely at your skin and talk through your goals. During your consultation we can explain the different treatments that may be able to address your concern. Our team is made up of health professionals.
