Crows Feet Wrinkles

Lines around the sides of the eyes, commonly referred to as crow's feet, are common reasons people book a consultation with us. They form through repeated expressions such as smiling, squinting or laughing, and typically become more noticeable with age. If this is a concern for you, please book a consultation with our team.

What are crow's feet?

Crow's feet are fine lines that radiate outwards from the corners of the eyes. They are often most visible when smiling or squinting, and can become visible at rest over time.

What causes them?

The skin around the eyes is thinner and more delicate than elsewhere on the face, and moves constantly. Repeated expressions, natural collagen loss, sun exposure, genetics and squinting in bright light can all contribute to how and when these lines form.

Reasons people seek consultations

Because they come from smiling and laughing, many people have mixed feelings about these lines. People usually come to us not wanting to lose their expressions, but wanting to understand how the area changes and what is realistic. Common reasons include:

  • Lines visible when not smiling
  • Makeup settling into fine lines around the eyes
  • Lines becoming more noticeable over time
  • Wanting to understand how the eye area changes with age
  • Wanting a professional opinion on suitability and realistic expectations

How should you manage crow's feet?

The skin around the eyes differs from person to person, and so does the way people like to express themselves. The best first step is to book a consultation. Our consultations run for 45 minutes and are never rushed. During your consultation we can explain the different treatments that may be able to address crow's feet, so you can decide what, if anything, feels right for you. Our team is made up of health professionals.

Four steps, start to finish.

You do not need to choose a treatment before you book. If you are unsure, choose “Book a consultation”.

  1. Book a consultation

There is no consultation fee. New client consultations run 45 minutes, so nothing is rushed and we can properly understand your goals.

  2. Pre-treatment care

If anything needs preparing beforehand, we send you clear instructions ahead of your appointment.

  3. Your treatment

Carried out by a member of our clinical team using TGA approved products, in a private clinical setting. It is often possible to proceed on the same day as your consultation, though some options need a separate booking — DM us to find out more.

  4. Post-treatment care

You leave with aftercare instructions, and our clinic is available for any questions that follow.
