Information to discuss during consultation

InMode covers two treatments on this page. They work differently, involve different aftercare, and suit different concerns — so they are described separately rather than together.

Morpheus8 is a non-surgical treatment combining microneedling with radiofrequency energy to target deeper layers of the skin. It aims to stimulate collagen and elastin remodelling, which may support firmness and texture and may influence the appearance of laxity, pore size and fine lines.

MiniFX is a non-invasive treatment delivering a combination of radiofrequency energy and vacuum suction. It targets areas such as the under-chin and lower face, and may reduce fat deposits in those areas while supporting skin texture and firmness.

Which of these may be appropriate for you — or neither — is determined at consultation, where your goals, suitability, alternatives, potential risks, side effects, downtime, aftercare and realistic expectations are discussed. Individual results vary.

Explore the available information, then discuss which option—if any—may be appropriate for you.

01

Morpheus8

Morpheus8 is a non-surgical treatment which combines microneedling with radio frequency (RF) energy to target deeper skin layers. This allows the penetration of RF energy to stimulate collagen and elastin remodelling into the deeper layers of the skin which may lead to improvements in overall skin firmness, texture and skin laxity. It may also contribute to reducing pore size and smoothing fine lines over time.

A consultation is required to discuss your goals, determine suitability, to discuss potential risks, side effects, downtime, aftercare and realistic expectations.

02

MiniFX

MiniFX is a non-invasive treatment that delivers a combination of radio-frequency energy and vacuum suction. It may help to smooth the skin, reduce small fat deposits and improve overall skin texture and firmness. It is intended for those who want to target areas such as under the chin and the lower face by reducing the appearance of those fat deposits.

A consultation is required to discuss your goals, determine suitability, to discuss potential risks, side effects, downtime, aftercare and realistic expectations.

From consultation to aftercare.

Individual experiences, downtime and aftercare vary. Everything below is discussed with you before any treatment decision is made.

Morpheus8

  1. Consultation

Questions about InMode — Morpheus8 & MiniFX Consultations

Is Morpheus8 painful?

A topical numbing cream is applied to the treatment areas before starting. Some people experience mild discomfort from the warm pressure and prickling sensation during treatment.

How long is Morpheus8 downtime?

Mild redness, tenderness and swelling may be visible afterwards and generally subside within one to three days. Grid-like marks may remain for up to a week, and skin can feel rough or dry for three to five days. Individual results vary.

How many Morpheus8 sessions will I need?

The number of sessions is discussed at consultation, as it depends on your individual skin and what you are hoping to address. Some clients find benefit with around three sessions, spaced roughly four weeks apart.

How long does Morpheus8 take?

Around one and a half to two hours, depending on the areas being treated.

When will I see Morpheus8 results?

Individual results vary. Changes generally start to become noticeable within a few weeks of treatment.

Is MiniFX painful?

The treatment is generally considered comfortable, with individual experiences varying. Some areas are more sensitive than others — the under-chin area in particular.

How long is MiniFX downtime?

The treatment sites may feel warm for a few hours afterwards. Redness and swelling generally subside within one to three days, and any bruising — most often under the chin — may take up to a week.

How long do MiniFX results last?

The results are permanent. Changes in lifestyle can still affect your overall shape over time, but the result achieved by the treatment itself does not reverse.

Can I wear makeup after MiniFX?

Light make-up can generally be worn afterwards, though this depends on your skin's sensitivity on the day.

Understanding the cost of treatment.

What treatment costs depends on your facial structure and anatomy, on the goals you are hoping to work toward, and on which treatments are involved in getting there. Two people asking for a similar outcome may need very different plans.

A consultation is the most reliable way to understand what your own treatment plan would involve and what it would cost. We will discuss your goals, talk through what may be suitable, and set out the cost of that specific plan — with no obligation to proceed.
